A New Oven?!

You'd think I'd pay a little more attention to this - you know, working with clay that's kind of supposed to be baked and all. But truth is I've been using a rusty toaster oven that's older than me (my guess is 30+ years old) that runs for 7 minutes at a time, and that's about 50 degrees below what it's supposed to be. I dealt with it pretty well, though, turning the 7-minute knob 3-4 times for each figurine and figuring the amount of time it would take to harden with the -50 degrees ^^"

So THIS is something to celebrate. Seriously! I didn't expect it to come in the form of an actual "polymer clay oven" since my original plan was to buy a fancier toaster oven when the rusty one finally gives out...but my wonderful friend (who was also responsible for giving me my first sampler pack of clay when I called sculpting "something cool I want to try") decided to just go ahead and give me an early birthday present today. A REALLY early present.

I feel like I finally have a normally-functioning oven! It's a lot greater than you think. ZOMG. (although any possible warnings from those of you who may have accidents with this model would be much appreciated, so that I may be able to avoid a clay disaster heh...)
