Custom Wedding Cake Topper: The Forks

This was perhaps my favorite project of all time! It was requested personally by my older cousin, the bride, based on an inside joke that she and her hubby are "The Forks." (Which started due to a texting autocorrect that changed "You dork" ---> "You fork") 

Materials: 

- Fimo polymer clay, soft 
- Sparkly fabric and sequins from Hobby Lobby 
- Glitter 
- Silver leaf 
- Fine wire 
- Wooden base 
- Acrylic paint 
- Varathane polyurethane water-based varnish 
- Ribbons
